Myotherapy (Popular)

Myotherapy is a form of manual therapy which focuses on assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal pain and associated pathologies. Myotherapy incorporates trigger point therapy and a wide range of soft tissue massage and manipulation including: muscle energy technique, dry needling, and joint mobilisation. Myotherapy treatments incorporate the following: a thorough patient history; observations of tissues, movement, and gait; postural assessment; palpating of spine, peripheral joints, musculature, connective tissue, and associated viscera; clinical orthopaedic and neurological tests.

The aim of remedial massage is to encourage physical and mental relaxation, improve circulation and muscle tone, prevent soft tissue problems, assist the functioning of the digestive system and encourage the elimination of toxins from the body. Massage basically involves manipulating the skin, muscles and joints .

Sports Massage (High demand)

Sports massage works the muscular system in preparation for sports training, as well an excellent pre-contest and post-contest work. By warming the muscles, it serves to improve sports performance, and later will assist the muscles in ridding themselves of an excess of latic acid and muscle soreness. Sports massage is suitable for anyone participating in regular physical activity. Sports massage promotes flexibility, reduces fatigue, improves endurance, helps prevent injuries and prepares the body and mind for optimal performance.

Geriatric massage therapy uses gently, light massage techniques and can include passive stretching and a light oil to permit your muscles to be worked without causing excessive friction to the skin. These techniques can help enhance blood circulation, combat depression, improve balance and flexibility, reduce the pain of arthritis, increase joint mobility, improve posture, and encourage overall well-being.

Lomi Lomi Massage (Popular)

Aloha! Lomi Lomi Massage is a very relaxing Hawaiian style massage that has become widely popular for those that want to simply wind down, relax and feel the benefits of a full body Lomi Lomi Massage. One of the primary goals is to relax the entire body by using long gliding and forearm strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart. Lomi Lomi Massage is exceptionally beneficial for increasing the level of oxygen in the blood decreasing muscles toxins, improving circulation and flexibility while easing tension. Cupping therapy

Cupping has been practiced for thousands of years for the treatment of disease and pain. It is a form of acupuncture that focuses on the movement of blood, energy - called Qi - and body fluids, such as lymph - which circulates around the body's tissues. Oriental medicine states pain is due to stagnation of these systems. This stagnation could be a result of injury or stress. Cupping is believed to stimulate flow of blood, lymph and Qi to the affected area. It's uses include relieving pain in the muscles, especially back pain from stiffness or injury, and clearing congestion in the chest, which can occur with colds and flu.

Ear Candling

The ancient clearing method has been used by Egyptians, the Chinese, Greeks and the Hopi Indians of America. The process involves using a specially made hollow candle which is held gently on the edge of the ear to create a vacuum in the ear, drawing out old wax, residues of past infections and fungus. Candling is said to stimulate the immune system and peripheral blood circulation. Ear candles may also be used to cleanse and harmonize a person's energy fields of auras, prior to medication.
